CALISTAR S Single Incision POP Repair System
Calistar Single Incision POP Repair System is indicated for anterior and apical prolapse repair (Calistar A and Calistar S), as well as posterior and apical prolapse repair (Calistar P) by reinforcing the support structures of the pelvic floor. The procedure is performed through a single vaginal incision. The single vaginal approach decreases the operative and hospitalization time, and facilitates rapid patient recovery.
Precise implantation is possible thanks to the Retractable Insertion Guide (RIG) and TAS Anchors. The RIG allows controlled release of implant fixation arms and TAS anchors, and proper implant placement at targeted anatomical landmarks.
Reliable fixation is achieved with Calistar unique anchoring system. The TAS anchors features 6 fixating points at 360° and a safety stop that provides strong and safe anchorage to sacrospinous ligaments.
Due to the optimal implant design, Calistar provides stabilized correction of a wide range of defects.
Calistar A Single Incision POP Repair System offers remarkable anatomical and functional outcomes thanks to the stability achieved by fixating it to De Lancey’s Level I (sacrospinous ligaments), pericervical structures and mid urethral support. A unique and innovative feature of Calistar A is that allows a significant reduction of SUI incidence after prolapse correction by means of tension-free support of the mid urethra.
Calistar P Single Incision POP Repair System is designed to perform minimally invasive surgery for posterior and apical prolapse repair. The new technique significantly reduces the risk of nerve or vessels damage. It is specifically designed for an accurate fitting to De Lancey’s Level I and II.
Calistar S Single Incision POP Repair System is designed to perform minimally invasive surgery for anterior and apical prolapse repair. The new exclusive multifixation system is with low profile dimentions for remarkable anatomical and functional outcomes.
